Peter & Harriet
Loving and being loved are life’s wonderful experiences and that is what Peter and Harriet have experienced in their 33 years of marriage.
Peter and Harriet who have been teaching the Marriage Preparation Course since 1999 believe that in order to cultivate a successful marriage, both have to constantly work at it.
Married with two children, Peter and Harriet find great joy in preparing and mentoring young couples to be ready for a lifetime of marriage. As exclaimed by them, “Yes, marriage may be hard work at times, but who says you can’t have some fun along the way, too!”
EN & Mabel
EN and Mabel first met in 1999 and their friendship has grown into a fruitful marriage, serving the community as a couple. They believe that marriage takes more than love and a lasting marriage is a result of consistent, loving efforts to build, protect and nurture it.
Both are passionate about helping young couples build healthy marriages and believe that marriage mentorship and a like-minded community can nourish and grow marriages and families. Having received great mentorship themselves, they mentor and guide couples to build strong foundations in their marriage.
EN and Mabel enjoy spending time with their 3 children, seeking out new adventures together.
Sebastian & Eunice
Sebastian and Eunice first met as volunteer youth workers more than 20 years ago. Their journey has taken them through singlehood to a blossoming relationship and now happily married with 2 lovely daughters in tow.
Their passion is to help dating couples navigate the complexities of marriage and build stronger, healthier bonds between husband and wife. Like many Singaporean families, they are both working professionals who balance their demanding careers with being committed parents to their two young children. During their spare time, Sebastian and Eunice enjoy travelling and building lasting memories together as a family.
KS & Michelle
KS and Michelle have been helping couples through MPC since 2012. They believe that it is crucial for every couple to begin by building a good foundation for their marriage, and they see it as a privilege to contribute to their journey to build that precious foundation.
KS and Michelle have been happily married since 2002 and they recognize that building strong marriages is “heart” as well as “hard” work. What keeps them going are the smiles they see at the end of each session when couples come to a deeper understanding of the issues they are grappling with.
Daniel & Li Lin
Daniel and Li Lin met when they were running children’s community work. They married shortly after 16 months of courtship in 2001. Today, they have 3 lovely teenage boys, with the latest addition of an 8 month-old ‘girl’. Finally, their wish came true.
They believed marriage is for life. It requires deliberate effort and there is no shortcut. Both have to work together to grow and flourish the marriage. In the whole process, not forgetting to have fun and enjoying each other through new adventures and forming new memories.
Both are also DISC certified and trained facilitators of the Prepare Enrich programme, a powerful tool which they used to help couples understand each other’s profile so as to better one another.
Jason & Joyce
Building a strong and lasting marriage is what Jason and Joyce vowed to do when they tied the knot on Christmas day in 2004.
They are blessed with great mentors guiding them through their early years of marriage, and now they would like to contribute back by mentoring young married couples. Both have been involved in marriage preparation courses for the past 10+ years and are also certified parenting coaches. They want to help married couples journey through a lifelong marriage with their selfless sharing and experiences.
Jason and Joyce have 4 beautiful children and passionately called themselves “The JS Family”. They believe that the best gift they can give to their children is for the Dad and Mum to love each other, and to model for their children what a secured marriage and family should be. They love to create memories by doing sports activities together, travelling or simply spending time together.
