During the MPC classes, we learnt how to communicate better to avoid unnecessary conflicts. We enjoyed the session on Finance too as it has taught us how to plan and budget as a couple working towards our wedding, renovation, and monthly savings and retirement expenses.

More importantly, we were reminded not to use the “divorce” word freely during our quarrels. Even to date, when we face unresolved marriage issues, our instructors are always there 24/7 available for us to seek help.

MPC has prepared newlywed couples like us to know what to expect as we enter into marriage. It has outlined the important issues which couples will inevitably face e.g. managing finances , in-law relations and resolving conflicts.

Our instructors gave real life examples and made each session very interactive. They are a genuine and down to earth couple, a role model whom we can learn from. Throughout the sessions, we learnt more about each other’s expectations, areas that needed change and practiced various communication and conflict resolution skills.

In our opinion, attending the MPC is definitely worthwhile to be included in your marriage to-do checklist.

We felt that the session was very enriching and the duration and content of the MPC were nicely prepared and well organized. Our weekly activities allowed us to relate to the topics taught on the day.

Our instructors have been very engaging and we didn’t feel like being “strangers” in the group since we had never met the other couples before. My favourite topic is definitely Communication. It has helped me to understand my spouse better, how to better cope with our arguments and manage expectations.

Our instructors also assured us they have “got our back”! Very grateful to them for their time and effort for the 5 sessions! Highly recommend this MPC to all newlyweds-to-be!

Attending the MPC with my husband before we got married was one of the best decisions we have undertaken together as a couple!

This 5-week course affirmed our decision and commitment to be with each other and we felt that we got to know each other even better, especially with the DISC profiling session with our instructors!

We learnt many useful tips on how to communicate better (argue more effectively), money matters and even sensitive topics like dealing with in-laws. My husband and I highly recommend attending the MPC sessions. Our instructors were wonderful!

My husband and I attended MPC in 2017 and we enjoyed and learnt so much from it! The “theories” were facilitated through engaging conversations and personal stories, making it relevant and motivating.

I appreciated the one-to-one couple consultation (DISC profiling) with our instructors tremendously. It explained to us why we (husband and wife) behave and react the way we do, and helped us anticipate each other’s shortcomings and strengths much better.

We also draw much encouragement of a healthy marriage from the instructors themselves, who selflessly prepared alternative childcare arrangements for their kids so that they could focus on teaching and enriching us with their knowledge. These sessions we have with them go a long way and we loved it!

Through MPC, we have learnt a lot more than what we expected us to. Fine little details that I was not told about men and women.

These were all gently highlighted in the classes by our lovely instructors. Those are things we all take for granted and assume that the other party is supposed to be aware of.

After the classes, my significant other and I do not fight explosively anymore. We learnt to understand our differences and know the true meaning of love and enjoy the experiences that comes with it!

Although our wedding is only next year, we both feel so glad that we managed to attend the course because the lessons that we have learnt helped us even during marriage preparation.
